Intermediate Architectural Designer is needed to perform the following duties:
Key Responsibilities:
· Preparation in the presentation of architectural materials including the development of 3 dimensional renderings.
· Preparation of design drawings, complete construction drawings and specifications under the guidance of senior staff, Project Manager and Principals.
· Conduct product research as required specific to each project.
· Prepare construction sketches and provide shop drawing review during Construction Administration.
· Coordination of Architectural drawings with Engineering drawings.
· Prepare punch list for final project closeouts.
· Write meeting minutes as required for assigned projects.
· Create 3D models and renderings using Revit, Rhino and Enscape software.
· Create 2D drawings and presentations using AutoCAD, Illustrator, lnDesign and Photoshop.
· Working with the NPA team in generating communicating design strategies and concepts.
· The professional position of Architectural Designer at NPA requires a Master's degree or equivalent education in the fields of Architecture, Urban Design, Construction Management or in a closely related field. The job utilizes a body of knowledge that can only be gained through education and/or experience in Architecture, Engineering, Urban Design or a similar field of study
· Further, the position of Junior Architectural Designer is recognized in the architectural design industry as requiring at minimum a Bachelor’s degree for entry into the field.
Bachelor's Degree is required in Architecture or Architecture Design
